The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has confirmed the elimination of at least 35 armed insurgents in a series of airstrikes executed near the Cameroon border, responding decisively to intelligence reports of a planned attack on ground troops. NAF spokesperson Ehimen Ejodame articulated that following the airstrikes, communication channels were reestablished with ground soldiers, who reported a stabilization of their operational environment.
