In addition to the embargo, the UN resolution encourages the Haitian government to enhance border security measures to curb illicit trafficking. Furthermore, the Security Council has renewed the mandate for a Kenyan-led multinational force aimed at supporting the Haitian National Police in their efforts to combat gang-related activities.
