The spotlight of the match shone brightly on all-rounder Sikandar Raza, who made a remarkable impact after returning from Test duties representing Zimbabwe. Raza’s performance was a testament to his extraordinary journey, which included flying from multiple international locations just to participate in the match. He shared that in a span of just 24 hours, he enjoyed dinner in Birmingham, breakfast in Dubai, and lunch in Abu Dhabi before heading directly to Lahore for this crucial final. Afridi was exceptional with the ball, claiming 3 wickets for 24 runs, while Perera was honored as the player of the match for his crucial innings that kept the Qalandars in contention right up to the final over.
